Students taking General Metals or Drafting at MHS experienced learning under Mr. Paul Saxe.  Mr. Saxe earned his degree in Education in Industrial Arts from Eastern Illinois University.  He majored in Industrial Arts and minored in Drivers Education and Art.  He taught school in his home state then became a sales manager, resulting in his travels to California and Arizona to work, as a well as Illinois.  Mr. Saxe found that his sales job “kept me away from home too much so I came back to teaching, so I could spend more time with my family.  I have always liked teaching, and I especially like the teaching situation at Marana.”  After leaving the classroom Mr. Saxe concentrated his efforts in the catering industry.
