Dr. Kathleen Henry

Year of Graduation: 1970

Dr. Kathleen Henry graduated from Marana High School in 1970.  She then attended the University of Arizona and Kansas State University for her undergraduate degree, and Northern Arizona University, Kansas State University, and the University of Arizona for advanced degrees in education, agricultural education, and her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine. 

In her career, she has worked with the University of Arizona and the Navajo Nation. She has produced videos on topics ranging from horse and dairy goat care to animal nutrition.  She has served as a panelist for Women in Science and Engineering and Expanding Your Horizons. 

She has also participated in the Be Kind to Animals Educational Committee.  She has been a volunteer with many groups, such as the Therapeutic Riding Association and the Pima County Sheriff’s Posse.  She was pleasantly surprised at her induction into the Hall of Fame.
