David Dobbins, MHS 73, was born in Montana but raised in Arizona. He attended high school at CDO, then moved to MHS for his junior and senior years. Following high school he attended NAU Flagstaff for three years, then returned to Tucson before enlisting in the U.S. Navy in 1977. He served as an Intelligence Specialist and retired in 1996 as a Chief Warrant Officer. He was a teacher and administrator in Washington and Montana before retiring in 2020. He and his wife Becky moved from Montana to Sahuarita in 2024. David enjoys his ham radio activities most, and recently took on the job of updating the Marana Alumni Association website.
