Barney M. Holtzman
Class of 1987
While at Marana High School, Barney was noted for his ideals of integrity and excellence and was predicted to “go on to accomplish great things and give selflessly to his community”. Barney has done just that. As an attorney, Barney was voted one of Arizona’s and Tucson’s top attorneys and was recognized in 2007 as Mentor of the Year by Tucson Business Edge 40 under 40. Barney also received the Gary I. Sarver Young Leadership Award.
Barney has given generously to his community by being a member of the Volunteer Lawyers Program – an organization that serves over 3,000 low-income clients a year. He serves as the Chair of the Board of Directors of the Tucson Jewish Community Center and is on the Board of Directors of Ben’s Bells Project.
