Eligibility Guidelines
Marana High School has a rich history of nearly 90 years with many outstanding alumni. Inductees are selected
on the basis of community service or professional, personal, business and military accomplishments. Inductees
to the Marana High School Hall of Fame should serve as role models to current and future students. Nominations
can be made by previous Marana Unified School District Hall of Famers, Alumni Association Members,
administrators, faculty, staff, students, former students and the general public.
Eligibility:
- Nominee should have exhibited sustained superior performance in their career, be recognized as outstanding in their field, or have contributed to the community or society in a positive way.
- Nominee must have attended Marana High School and completed high school at least 10 years prior to nomination.
- Nominee must have exhibited the highest standards of ethical conduct and be a positive example for students.
- If a MUSD current employee or school board member, Hall of Fame nominees must have graduated from Marana High School.
- Members of the Hall of Fame Selection Committee and Marana Alumni Association Executive Committee are not eligible to be considered for the Hall of Fame while serving on these committees.
Process
- The nominator should submit the Marana High School Hall of Fame Nomination Form.
- The nominator should provide a letter describing reasons the nominee should be inducted into the Marana High School Hall of Fame. A nomination can be made by one or more people who may provide one or more letters of recommendation.
- Accomplishments in college and/or in the military
- The nomination should be based on one or more of the following:
- Contributions to their profession
- Recognition in their field
- Public service and contributions to the community or society.
